engaging our counselling services. By submitting an enquiry, creating an account or paying for a
service, you accept these terms on your own behalf and, where applicable, on behalf of the
student you represent.
1. Our Services
We provide study abroad counselling, which includes profile evaluation, country and university
shortlisting, application filing support, scholarship guidance, visa documentation assistance
and pre-departure briefing.
- We are an advisory and facilitation service, not an admission authority or a visa-granting body.
- Admission offers and visas are issued solely at the discretion of the university or the concerned authority.
- Our counselling is based on information available at the time and is provided in good faith.
2. Fees And Payments
- The first counselling session, profile evaluation and basic shortlist are free of charge.
- Service charges, if any, are shared with you in writing before you engage us.
- University application fees, tuition deposits, visa fees and courier charges are paid directly by you to the respective institution or authority.
- All payments must be made through official channels only. Never transfer money to a personal account.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Provide genuine, complete and accurate documents and information.
- Meet deadlines for documents, tests, interviews and payments.
- Keep your counsellor informed of any change in your academic, financial or immigration status.
- Understand that submitting forged or misleading documents is grounds for ending this engagement without refund.
We never guarantee an admission or a visa.
Any figure such as a "98% visa success rate" is historical performance, not a promise for your
individual case.
4. Website Use
The content on this website — text, layout, graphics, logo and icons — is owned by CARL
International or used under licence. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial
use only.
- Do not copy, reproduce or republish our content without written permission.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape or overload the website.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its databases.
5. Accuracy Of Information
University rankings, tuition fees, intake dates, work rights and scholarship details change
frequently. We refresh this information regularly, but you must confirm current figures with
your counsellor or with the institution before making any decision or payment.
6. Cancellation And Refunds
- Cancellation requests must be made in writing to info@carlstudyabroad.com.
- Where the request is made before the shortlist is delivered, service charges are refunded after deducting administrative costs.
- Fees paid to universities, visa authorities or third parties are governed by their own refund policies.
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.
7. Limitation Of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CARL International is not liable for indirect or consequential
loss arising from an admission rejection, visa refusal, delay by a university or embassy, border
or immigration decisions, or any change in another country's rules.
8. Student Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
- Information shown in your account is for tracking purposes and may not reflect a decision until officially confirmed.
- We may suspend an account that is used to misrepresent documents or another person's identity.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts at Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
10. Changes To These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The updated version is published on this page, and
continued use of the website means you accept the revised terms.
